can someone paste the lyrics of Amanda Seyfried’s single “Little House”? don’t give me a website, just paste please!

Best answer:

Answer by Tyana
Amanda Seyfried’s “Little House” lyrics

I love this place
But it’s haunted without you
My tired heart
Is beating so slow
Our hearts sing less
Than we wanted
We wanted
Our hearts sing ’cause
We do not know
we do not know

To light the night
To help us grow
To help us grow
It is not said
I always know

You can catch me
Don’t you run
Don’t you run
If you live another day
In this happy little house
The fire’s here to stay

To light the night
To help us grow
To help us grow
It is not said
I always know

Please don’t make a fuss
It won’t go away
The wonder of it all
The wonder that I made
I am here to stay

I am here to stay

Inspired by the Arts, a Little Civil Law Book with a Big View, a One-Cup-of-Coffee Read by Author Larry A. Berglas

White Plains, New York (PRWEB) February 11, 2014

Inspired by modern art in Amsterdam, blues in Kansas City and the way light is painted on canvas, Civil Law in America: A Minimalist Law Book is a little book with a big arts law view, a one-cup-of-coffee read, a sketch of the legal landscape.

Less than 60 brief pages in length, Civil Law in America: A Minimalist Law Book is not a typical law book. It is not a law treatise, casebook, how to, substantive reference, or primary or secondary law source.

Like artwork painted from memory that conveys its subject with only essential lines and gestures, Civil Law in America: A Minimalist Law Book thoughtfully provokes on the issues of the law.

Civil Law in America: A Minimalist Law Book is an American law book written with a fresh voice.

Prompted by art, poetry and music, Civil Law in America: A Minimalist Law Book was written for artists, students, teachers, and anyone interested in the role law plays in life and work.

More like songwriting than legal writing, Civil Law in America: A Minimalist Law Book provides a spare, lyrical foundation for approaching and understanding the issues of American civil law.

A creative, concise and simple expression of the law, Civil Law in America: A Minimalist Law Book is an important and unique addition to the vast library of complex law topics and titles.

Larry A. Berglas is a writer, teacher, musician and practicing attorney with more than twenty years of multidisciplinary experience in the law. Larry teaches Arts & Entertainment Law and Finance for the Arts at Purchase College in Purchase, New York.

Little Boxes On the Hillside

Little boxes on the hillside/
Little boxes made of ticky tacky/
Little boxes on the hillside/
Little boxes all the same.
There’s a green one and a pink one/
And a blue one and a yellow one/
And they’re all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.

Written by Malvina Reynolds in 1962 as she passed by Daly City and its endless rows of suburbia, "Little Boxes" became a hit under her friend Pete Seeger. Later, when a reporter tried to get her to show the location where the lyrics came to her head, she was unable to find it, as more houses had been developed. The song has recently been re-popularized as the theme to the show Weeds.

Florida State is a huge party school—there’s no denying it. Sometimes it’s easy to get swept up into the party scene and forgot the more important aspects of college, like the whole going-to-class thing. But in the end, it’s up to you to make a conscious effort to not go out too much and to always get your work done. Though sometimes easier than said done, finding the perfect balance between partying and school is great way to guarantee your success and a good GPA.

Film Description: Director John Landis put himself on the map with this low-budget, fabulously successful comedy, which made a then-astounding 62 million dollars and started a slew of careers for its cast in the process. National Lampoon’s Animal House is set in 1962 on the campus of Faber College in Faber, PA.

The first glimpse we get of the campus is the statue of its founder Emil Faber, on the base of which is inscribed the motto, "Knowledge Is Good." Incoming freshmen Larry "Pinto" Kroger (Tom Hulce) and Kent "Flounder" Dorfman (Stephen Furst) find themselves rejected by the pretentious Omega fraternity, and instead pledge to Delta House.

The Deltas are a motley fraternity of rejects and maladjusted undergraduates (some approaching their late twenties) whose main goal — seemingly accomplished in part by their mere presence on campus — is disrupting the staid, peaceful, rigidly orthodox, and totally hypocritical social order of the school, as represented by the Omegas and the college’s dean, Vernon Wormer (John Vernon).

Dean Wormer decides that this is the year he’s going to get the Deltas expelled and their chapter decertified; he places the fraternity on "double secret probation" and, with help from Omega president Greg Marmalard (James Daughton) and hard-nosed member Doug Neidermeyer (Mark Metcalf), starts looking for any pretext on which to bring the members of the Delta fraternity up on charges.

The Deltas, oblivious to the danger they’re in, are having a great time, steeped in irreverence, mild debauchery, and occasional drunkenness, led by seniors Otter (Tim Matheson), Hoover (James Widdoes), D-Day (Bruce McGill), Boon (Peter Riegert), and pledge master John "Bluto" Blutarsky (John Belushi). They’re given enough rope to hang themselves, but even then manage to get into comical misadventures on a road trip (where they arrange an assignation with a group of young ladies from Emily Dickinson University).

Finally, they are thrown out of school, and, as a result, stripped of their student deferments (and, thus, eligible for the draft). They decide to commit one last, utterly senseless (and screamingly funny) slapstick act of rebellion, making a shambles of the university’s annual homecoming parade, and, in the process, getting revenge on the dean, the Omegas, and everyone else who has ever gone against them.

LYRICS: (One, two)
(One, two, one, two, three)

Hey baby won’t you take a chance?
Say that you’ll let me have this dance

Let’s dance, let’s dance
Do the twist, the stomp, the mashed potato too,
Any old dance that you wanna do
But let’s dance, let’s dance

Hey baby, yeah, you thrill me so
Hold me tight, don’t you let me go

But let’s dance, let’s dance
We’ll do the twist, the stomp, the mashed potato too
Any old dance that you wanna do
But let’s dance, well let’s dance

OK, wail now.

Oh, yeah
(musical interlude)
Hey, baby, if you’re all alone
Maybe you’ll let me walk you home

But let’s dance, let’s dance
We’ll do the twist, the stomp, the mashed potato too,
Any old dance that you wanna do
But let’s dance, let’s dance

Hey, baby, things are swingin’ right
Yes, I know that this is the night

Let’s dance, let’s dance
We’ll do the twist, the stomp, the mashed potato too
Any old dance that you wanna do
But let’s dance, let’s dance

But let’s dance
But let’s dance
But let’s dance

Partying and college have always gone hand-in-hand. Kind of like chips and salsa, Taco Bell and drunkenness, or Beavis and Butthead. They are two things that can exist without each other; you can still attend college and not party, or party and not attend college. But together they create the perfect balance. It’s nice after a long week of learning to hang out with friends on the weekend and let off some steam. Go to a few parties, maybe meet some new people, and overall just relax and have a little fun.

Partying and college, if done right, can create a harmonious balance in which you are on top of your school work, yet at the same time still leading a very active social life. Students who are able to do this will, in my opinion, get the most out of the college experience. Good grades, lots of friends, and of course fun stories to tell your children—or even some stories you will never, ever tell your children. Either way, you’re having a really good time and still maintaining a good GPA.

In general, I’d say I’ve done a pretty good job of balancing the two. But for some reason, this semester it has become increasingly harder. I’m finding that balancing my social life and school is not quite as easy as it once was. Maybe it’s because I’m taking harder classes or more likely, because I’m going out too much and blowing off my responsibilities. It’s really difficult to stay in and study, especially on a weekend, when all of you’re friends are going out to a huge party.

I think sometimes it’s hard for students to balance party life and school life simply due to the large number of parties and club events that are always going on in Tallahassee. You can literally go out any night of the week and find something to do.

Whether it be at the strip or midtown or even at some random person’s apartment, there is always something going on. As for parties, students will pretty much always think of any excuse to throw one. And I mean any. I’ve been to some really obscurely themed parties that were clearly last minute type of things. People just like to throw parties for the sake of throwing parties. Just the other weekend, my friends, who don’t really like football, threw a Super Bowl party.

The Star Lyric Theatre To Open Annie The Musical In Sydney

The Star, owned and operated by Echo Entertainment, has organised a media call for this coming Tuesday 3rd January at the Lyric Theatre.

We will be attending to cover the ever-popular Broadway musical Annie prior to the official opening night of the show at 7pm on Thursday January 5, 2012.

Three musical numbers from the show will be performed, and afterwards producer John Frost and lead cast members Anthony Warlow, Nancye Hayes, Todd McKenney, Chloe Dallimore, Julie Goodwin and Alan Jones will be giving interviews and be available for photograph opportunities and more.

The musical numbers will be:

It’s the Hard Knock Life – featuring the children’s cast

Easy Street – featuring Nancye Hayes, Todd McKenney and Chloe Dallimore

A New Deal for Christmas – featuring Anthony Warlow, Julie Goodwin, Alan Jones and the ensemble cast.

Based on the popular Harold Gray comic strip “Little Orphan Annie”, the musical Annie burst into popularity in 1977 when it opened on Broadway. After running there for nearly six years, it has played in over 22 countries worldwide including the UK, Argentina, Japan, Germany, Sweden, Spain and Australia. Annie became a smash-hit movie musical in 1982 starring Aileen Quinn, Albert Finney and Carol Burnett that is adored worldwide and a fixture of popular culture references.

Annie is full of toe-tapping hits which have become staples of musical theatre repertoires worldwide and now, 34 years on, it remains one of the most loved and universally appealing musicals of all time.

Annie plays in Sydney until March 25 before a national tour.

It all marks another interesting development in the Australian casino wars, as agency, Media Man has been calling it for a few years now, and it will be interesting to see how Melbourne based competitor of The Star, Crown Casino, responds with their entertainment line up, which is also ramping up on the west coast on Australia with the newly named Crown Perth (formally Burswood Entertainment Centre).

The battle for the Australian entertainment dollar continues, and certainly Sydney’s The Star is going full speed ahead and betting that world class entertainment will remain paramount in the quest to bring more punters to land based casinos and entertainment complexes.

Media blurb we secured…

The timeless tale of Little Orphan Annie is back, giving a whole new generation the chance to experience this classic musical about never giving up hope. Boasting one of Broadway’s most memorable scores, including It’s the Hard-Knock Life, Easy Street, N.Y.C. and the ever-optimistic Tomorrow, Annie is one of the most awarded and loved musicals of all time. Reprising one of his all-time favourite roles as the charismatic and sophisticated New York ‘zillionaire’ Daddy Warbucks, is Anthony Warlow. He will be joined by the ever-popular Nancye Hayes playing everyone’s favourite villain, Miss Hannigan. Todd McKenney, Chloë Dallimore and Julie Goodwin also bring their talents to this delightful musical. And in a special treat, radio star Alan Jones will join the cast in the role of Franklin D. Roosevelt.

A MESSAGE FROM PRODUCER JOHN FROST

It gives me great pleasure to bring ANNIE back to Australian audiences. When I produced this show 12 years ago I was overwhelmed by the response it received. ANNIE is such a well known, well loved production that appeals to so many different age groups. Its popularity means that it is staged once a year in many countries around the world, and I have no doubt that the Australian audiences are well and truly ready to see it again.

This time around, I am especially delighted to be able to work once more with Australia’s favourite leading man, Anthony Warlow and theatrical legend Nancye Hayes.

To be taking this wonderful show and the star studded cast on tour in 2012 presents a unique and exciting opportunity to reach a new generation of Australians and it gives me enormous pleasure to think that people Australia wide will again be able to experience this special production.
