Answer by Andrea
Jason Michael Carroll – Hurry Home

He’s been sitting by the phone since she left
But it’s time for work and he just can’t be late
So he grabs his old guitar
And he plays a couple bars on the machine
And then he softly sings

It doesn’t matter what you’ve done, I still love you
It doesn’t matter where you’ve been, you can still come home
And honey if it’s you, we’ve got a lot of making up to do
And I can’t hug you on the phone, so hurry home

Well the message light was blinking when he got back
It was an old friend calling cause he just heard the news
He says Man I hope you find her
If I see her I’ll remind her that her dad is worried
And want her to know

It doesn’t matter what you’ve done, I still love you
It doesn’t matter where you’ve been, you can still come home
And honey if it’s you, we’ve got a lot of making up to do
And I can’t hug you on the phone, so hurry home

Well the days dragged by without a word from her
And it looked like she might not be coming back
People said man don’t you think it’s time to take that old message off
He said no, you never know when she might call

She was just outside a bar in New York City
Her so-called friends had left her all alone
She was scared he wouldn’t want her
But she dialed up that old number and let it ring
And then she heard him sing

It doesn’t matter what you’ve done, I still love you
It doesn’t matter where you’ve been, you can still come home
And honey if it’s you, we’ve got a lot of making up to do
And I can’t hug you on the phone, so hurry home

He walked in just in time to hear her say
Dad, I’m on my way

U.S. Navy Rock Artist Cole Childers Releases “Fall With Me” Music Video

Seattle, Wa (PRWEB) March 27, 2013

Growing up in Bainbridge Island, Wa., Cole was influenced by Seattles grunge scene but, at 17, guitar in hand, Cole wanted his music to be his own. Musically influenced by Foo Fighters, Shinedown and Gavin Rosdale, Coles rock artist powerful vocals and verbal imagery will leave audiences wanting more.

Cole joined the United States Navy in 2002 and after returning from a six-month deployment in 2005, where he wrote most of the music on what would become his debut album; the singer, songwriter and guitarist formed Virginia Beach-based band Chasing Corona.

As the voice of Chasing Corona, Coles records have been spun on Virginia Beach, Virginia area radio stations FM 99, 96X, 100.5 Max FM and 94.1 The Point, and nationally from New Yorks Q 104.3 to Cape Girardeau, Mo. With the bands release of Black Eye and Candlelight, Coles energy produced enough local buzz and press that the Navy granted permission to shoot the Sand to Stone video at Little Creek Amphib Base in Norfolk. Stories online at HamptonRoads.com

Cole has taken the stage with Creed and Motley Crue at the Verizon Wireless Va. Beach Amphitheater, opened for Green River Ordinance and The Bo Deans at the Ntelos Pavilion in Portsmouth, and has rocked New Yorks Fleet Week three years running, playing with George Clinton and Joan Jett.

In 2010, Cole left Chasing Corona to focus on a newer vision for his songwriting. My lyrics are a lot more current, positive and hopeful, Cole said of his new project.

The debut single from the Aurora EP, Fall With Me, was shot in LA by director/producer Scott Hansen, and features the emotional turmoil often associated with the men and women of the Armed Forces. Check out more online:

Ohio Native Hip Hop Recording Artist Taylorman Prepares To Make a Big Impact On Mainstream Airwaves

New York, NY (PRWEB) February 7, 2011

Look out, midwest is the region, O.H.I.O is the state, the Glasscity (Toledo, Ohio) is the city, and this historical talented recording artist has what it takes to give the music industry a bang for what it’s worth after becoming Toledo’s two time hip hop fox 36 Toledo Idol.

He carries the passion like Tupac Shakur, the business mind frame of Jay Z & 50 Cent, with a lyrical voice that would remind you of Ludacris so who ever ends up signing this recording artist has definitely hit the jackpot. The artist/ producer/ CEO is currently living in New York City and doing major things back in his hometown Toledo,OH, what they call the glasscity, where Taylorman is putting it down with his empire team of talented producers (Audamatik, DNickz, Mr Endz, Bit”A”Till) and recording artists such as Da General P.Capone, Ladyredd, Magestic, & Bobby Winston, who’s currently signed to Taylor’s independent label Taylorman Music Group LLC.

Since 2003 the talented songwriter/producer (Taylorman) has been attacking the business dropping mixtapes of major remixes and albums and performing continuously in New York City and all over Ohio nightclubs and even investing into his own events and concerts to get his shine on the way he wants it; plus opening up for mainstream artists like, Shawnna, Gucci Mane, Lil Scrappy, Rick Ross, T-Pain, Lil Wayne and others serving listeners the entertainment they want to hear as he remains in the spotlight on different FM radiostations interviews (107.3 The Juice, Hot 97.3 Urban Radio) and taking over his hometown just off of hot radio commercial ads in 60 sec. song formats. He is also the spotlight in newspapers and underground television shows and live stage performances.

The talented songwriter is very versatile with his lyrics, so in some cases you may hear him on R & B levels of music, Pop or Street music; either way this artist has no limits within music all together, even with producing music, his creations are very amazing.

Taylorman also directs and edits his own films which are currently broadcasted on his YouTube channel Taylorman114 where he created Taylorman T.V, which shows all of his live performances, interviews, video shoots and music videos, and his documentaries & movies, along with unseen footage, news off the streets of different states and cities and he even started his own film production called Taylorman Films LLC. So when he makes his big break with his music career he can also possibly land his major film deal to work with companies such as Tri Star, New Line Cinema, Paramount Pictures or Lions Gate Films.

In 2006 he filmed his first independent movie 2 Way Trouble (Action/Comedy) and thew his own historical world movie premiere of the film and showcased it on the big screen at the Ohio Theater in Toledo, Ohio on Lagrange St. and sold over half of the seats out of 1,000 on opening night. Taylorman also has a upcoming Sophomore Film (Backs Against Tha Wall)(Action/Suspense) he’s ready to begin after the release of his new upcoming album Determination 2 Maintain, which has no release date set at this time due to Taylor being undecided of which mainstream record label he would like to join forces with for his projects. And Taylorman is also currently still promoting his late single “Applebottoms,” “New York City,” & “My One Love” from his debut album Tha Street Destruction that’s currently still selling on iTunes today.

Taylorman has also leaked three new singles “Mailtime,” “Storms on the way,” and “Pants on the Ground Remix ft General Larry Platt” from his second new upcoming album Determination 2 Maintain that will possibly soon have a release date. Now that Taylorman is currently living in his second hometown New York City, he plans to become one of the newest upcoming major artist discoveries outta New York City. He is one of Ohio’s most powerful standouts.

‘Drugs Make You Un-Smarter’ Authors Team Up with Free-style Performer J-Stylez and Music Artist Writtyn to Present the Drug-Free Commitment Tour to Teens

(PRWEB) May 09, 2011

Drugs Make You Un-Smarter author Jill Vanderwood and her sixteen-year-old granddaughter and co-author, Savanna Peterson hit the road this summer to begin a Drug-Free Commitment Tour. The goal of this tour is to teach kids about the dangers of drugs and alcohol, and talk about how substance abuse affects a family. The authors are joined by motivational speaker and free-style basketball great Jerrickson Hosteen, performing as J-Stylez, and Kari Denny-Flynn, AKA Writtyn who is a hip-hop artist, rapping about the problems in her life caused by her past drug abuse and the alcoholism of her family.

The Drug-Free Commitment Tour includes motivational teen speaker, Savanna Peterson. Even though Savanna grew up with a father in prison for drug related crimes, her brother had parties with drugs and alcohol while her mom was at work, and the cops were watching her house, Savanna chose a drug-free life. Her stories encourage other teens to make the commitment to remain drug-free or change the direction they are now headed.

Youre one of the few people I know where their family did drugs, but you stuck with your commitment and said no to drugs, says Avery.

Savanna, you must have a lot of determination to be a leader and role model and not be a follower of others who do drugs, says Caleb

Jerrickson Hosteen, J-Stylez is a motivational youth speaker and basketball free-styler from the Navajo Nation and lives in Sawmill, Arizona. J-Stylez is compared with the Harlem Globe Trotters. He has auditioned for Americas Got Talent and performed for colleges including Arizona State University, Tsaile Dine College, The University of New Mexico, and all of the Window Rock, Arizona school districts.

“Amazing basketball skills like I’ve never seen before!”

“He had me entertained from beginning to end, Very amazing!”

Kari Denny-Flynn, Writtyn is a hip-hop artist from the Navajo Nation who was inspired by artists such as MC Lyte, Litefoot, Missy Elliot, and LL Cool J. Writtyn writes and recites lyrics with an anti-drug message. With roots in both Arizona and Utah, Writtyn has performed at the Boys and Girls Club, The Indian Walk-In Center and for the Salt Lake City School District, the Salt Lake Community College, Mestizo West Side Arts Festival, and opened for The James and Ernie Comedy Show.

“Dig your music and your story. Props to you for overcoming so much and using that pain and putting it to music.” — Delon

Jill Vanderwood first experienced the serious nature of drug and alcohol abuse through her marriage to an alcoholic and the meth addiction of one of her children. Jill speaks about how to recognize signs of addiction, setting goals and making a commitment to remain drug-free.

Jill lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, and has roots in Portland, Ore. She has spoken at schools in the Granite and West Jordan School Districts. Both authors have been interviewed for the Salt Lake Tribune, The Deseret News, Love To Know Teen issues, and Fox 13, Good Day Utah. http://www.clipsyndicate.com/video/playlist/1805/2334927?cpt=8&title=broadcast_local&wpid=47
